OfficeNinjas Honors Walker Sands’ Trish Kalchbrenner with 2020 All-Star Award
I’m thrilled to announce that our one-and-only, multi-talented, -tasking, and -role tackling Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the President, Trish Kalchbrenner, has been named a 2020 OfficeNinja All-Star for her outstanding work and impact at Walker Sands!
Every year during Admin Week, OfficeNinjas awards the best and brightest executive assistants, office managers, administrators and workplace operators for their hard work. The All-Stars accolade is awarded based on nominations from coworkers and peers (think the People’s Choice Awards, but for office administrators), and Trish was nominated by colleagues who are impacted by her good deeds daily.
Since her first day at Walker Sands, Trish has been an integral part of our team. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to set us up for success by keeping our offices running smoothly while simultaneously maintaining a cultural pulse on everyone’s wellbeing. From making sure every celebration is one to remember to handling major projects like our full-floor Chicago office expansion, Trish always puts our people first and embodies our “Support” value every single day. She was even a main driving force in developing our family leave policy, a noteworthy accomplishment that went above and beyond a myriad of other job descriptions.
Her nurturing and supportive presence is felt by everyone in the agency, and she’s always ready with creative ideas for boosting morale and making the office festive. Even while working from home, she’s managed to bring us together with a company-wide Spirit Week and weekly updates on everyone’s beloved plants when she ventures to the office to water them.
As someone who has become a personal friend and confidant of mine and many others at the agency, I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this honor. Here’s how my colleagues agree:
