Acquity Group, a brand eCommerce and digital marketing company that’s now part of Accenture Interactive, worked with Walker Sands to reach 500 of its top business prospects in the mobile commerce space.
Walker Sands created a PR initiative that tailored data for Internet Retailer using its Top 500 list of retailers as the research sample. The Acquity Group Mobile Audit generated more than 1.9 million online impressions during a two-month campaign, more than 150 media placements and increased web visits by 50 percent following the bulk of PR outreach.
BizBuySell.com, the Internet’s largest business-for-sale marketplace, wanted to reach its core demographic of small business owners and position its business as a desired source of information on small businesses and local economies. Walker Sands targeted the American City Business Journals (ACBJ) publication, which has a presence in 40 major cities in the U.S.
Working together with BizBuySell.com, Walker Sands developed the BizBuySell.com Insight Report, a quarterly analysis measuring the health of the small business economy in 70 different DMAs around the country. The inaugural report, which leveraged internal data from BizBuySell.com, generated more than 350 media placements, more than 340 million impressions and a significant increase in year-over-year web traffic.
ThreatMetrix, a fast-growing integrated cybercrime prevention solutions provider, wanted to raise awareness about its cybersecurity solutions, specifically its TrustDefender™ Cybercrime Protection Platform, among U.S.-based e-commerce vendors. Walker Sands worked with ThreatMetrix to develop a campaign leveraging existing data that uncovered key insights around the prevalence of cybercrime in cities across the U.S.
As a result of the study, ThreatMetrix received more than 75 media placements, increased site traffic by 91 percent from the previous year, and was recognized on the Wall Street Journal’s “Next Big Thing” list of top 50 venture-capital-backed companies in the U.S.
