The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) is the nonprofit trade association for the IT industry. Walker Sands approached CompTIA with an idea for an integrated awareness campaign that would unpack a nagging issue within the technology industry: why so few girls are pursuing careers in information technology (IT).
The IT industry has historically relied on CompTIA for its insight on issues impacting the IT workforce, but CompTIA wanted to bring more mainstream awareness to the tech industry’s persistent diversity problem, positioning the association at the forefront of helping effect change.
