As a copywriter, Traer concepts and writes copy for creative campaigns, engaging social content and search-optimized digital assets. In this role, he works closely with the design and branding teams to create compelling content that represents clients’ brands and connects with their customers.
Having previously worked in editorial and digital content, Traer enjoys blending these disciplines to build out creative campaigns that accomplish clients’ goals. From writing entire websites to spontaneous meme making, his work reflects his affinity for the tonal shapeshifting that comes with B2B copywriting. He was part of a Walker Sands team that won a social media campaign Gold Award from the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards.
A native Iowan and lifelong Cyclone fan, Traer holds a degree from the Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication at Iowa State University, along with a minor in Spanish.
