As a Vice President, Account Management, Kate bridges client needs to agency services, sets program strategies and collaborates with internal service teams to produce great work for her B2B technology clients. On every client engagement, her goal is to be the trusted advisor to her clients’ marketing leaders to help assess new opportunities and find efficiencies between teams. Kate is happiest and most impactful when she is an extension of her clients’ internal team, embedded in the ins and outs of their business, its goals and how the marketing function can best drive meaningful results with Walker Sands’ support.
Every day, Kate works with talented experts across the agency’s public relations, demand gen, branding, strategy, web and creative service teams to bring to life integrated B2B marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, generate leads and take our clients’ businesses to the next level.
With a background in public relations and journalism, Kate is passionate about uncovering engaging client stories that will garner media coverage and industry recognition. Her current and prior client roster includes Elastic Path, Formation, InMoment and OpenX. Her work has been recognized by the Publicity Club of Chicago and the Public Relations Society of America. She has happily been a part of the growing Walker Sands team since 2014.
Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University.
Kate spends her weekends exploring new hiking trails, trying out local breweries and seeing as many concerts as possible.
