A little over a year ago, Walker Sands joined the vibrant tech community in Seattle, blazing new trails for our third office, which joined our existing locations in Chicago and San Francisco. Since then, we’ve watched the team grow, immerse themselves in the local tech community and make the Emerald City another place to call home. This success has been largely spearheaded by Annie Gudorf, who we’re proud to elevate to Vice President of Public Relations.
Annie joined the Walker Sands family in 2013 and from day one has exhibited tremendous leadership and marketing expertise. In 2017, she moved from Chicago to grow the agency’s West Coast presence, and in January 2018, she became the first employee in our Seattle office. In just over a year, Annie has grown the Seattle team from one to eight full-time employees and is already seeking new office space to make room for the expanding headcount.
With her top-notch team, Annie has produced award-winning work for an exceptional roster of clients including LiveStories and G2 Crowd. Most notably, her work on CompTIA’s Rosie the Riveter #MakeTechHerStory campaign led to a speaking opportunity at Content Marketing World last fall, and her team’s campaigns with Seattle clients Nintex and LiveStories are currently finalists for the PRSA Totem Awards.
2019 has already been a year of great success for our West Coast team, and with Annie at the helm in Seattle, I’m confident only good things are to come.
