If you haven’t heard the news, last week we announced an exciting new venture for Walker Sands – we’re expanding to the west coast with a new office opening in San Francisco.
Our Chicago office has developed a deep understanding of technology public relations over the years, and we’ve reached the point where it’s time to build upon our growth and proven strategy in a new market. Where better than San Francisco for the tech-obsessed like us? Now we’ll physically be in the same place as some of the companies and people who inspire us the most.
We’re excited to be part of a new scene where we can learn from some of the most creative minds, and we hope to expand our knowledge base while bringing something fresh to the Bay Area, too. While we have a few clients currently in the San Francisco area, we’re really looking forward to growing our client base on the west coast.
Our office will be located in the SOMA neighborhood at 156 2nd Street, putting us blocks away from some of the biggest names in the tech space. Our Chicago talent will initially offer support, but the goal is to build a self-standing office that brings together the successful mix we’ve developed in Chicago with the unique San Francisco culture.
Most importantly, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the entire Chicago tech community for your support. We couldn't have done this without our amazing clients and partners who trust in us to do amazing work.
