That’s why we’re so proud to announce that Walker Sands is moving on up on O’Dwyer’s 2016 ranking of PR firms.
O’Dwyer’s, a leading news outlet for the PR and marketing industry, ranked Walker Sands as the fifth largest agency in Chicago – up three spots from 2014 – and 18th among the top technology agencies in the U.S. – up from 29th two years ago. We were also recognized as 55th on O’Dwyer’s ranking of top PR firms with major U.S. operations.
These new rankings are a testament to the unstoppable growth we had in 2015.
Heading into last year, we were focused on strengthening our presence in our home base. Contributing to our prime position on O’Dwyer’s Chicago list were several of the notable local clients we added to our portfolio in the last 12 months, including G2 Crowd, GrubHub and Vivid Seats.
We’ve increased revenues 177 percent over the past three years, 52 percent in 2015 alone – results we attribute to a combination of healthy account retention, strong media relationships and our digital ecosystem approach to client service.
Beyond financials, we’re growing physically as well. Last fall, barely a year after moving into our new Chicago Loop offices, we were knocking down walls to make room for our thriving staff. By the end of the year, we’d brought on 28 new employees to accommodate an expanding client roster and build up expertise across our PR, content and digital teams.
We’re always amazed at the hard work and creativity our people bring to the office everyday. Being recognized as a leading agency by O’Dwyer’s is a welcome confirmation that we’re getting it right.
