CHICAGO (PRWEB) AUGUST 17, 2016
Walker Sands, a full-service digital marketing and public relations agency for B2B and tech companies, ranked 2398 in Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest growing companies due to an increase in revenue by 151 percent over the past three years.
In the 35th annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. by revenue growth, Walker Sands ranked 90 out of 250 companies in Chicago. Six Walker Sands clients were also included on the Inc. 5000 this year.
“It’s incredible that we continue to grow this rapidly,” said Mike Santoro, president of Walker Sands. “Our growth is thanks entirely to our determined employees and innovative clients. And to grow in two of the biggest tech hubs in the world makes the ride all the more rewarding.”
Thus far, 2016 has been another year of firsts and growth for Walker Sands. Beyond revenue growth, the agency has re-launched its San Francisco office, hired 16 employees, expanded its Chicago Loop office by 3,250 square feet and increased visual storytelling services with a new video department.
In addition to this Inc. 5000 ranking, Walker Sands has been honored as a Chief Marketer B2B Top Shop, Entrepreneur top company cultures, Holmes Report North American Technology Agency of the Year finalist and multiple accolades at the Chicago PRSA and Skyline awards this year. To top it all off, Mike Santoro was named PR Professional of the Year by PRSA Chicago and finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year – Midwest earlier this summer.
The Inc. 5000 list is considered the authority of America’s fastest-growing private companies—a vital component of the U.S. economy. Companies are ranked according to the percentage revenue growth over the past three-year period to demonstrate consistently rapid growth.
According to Inc., only a tiny fraction of the nation’s companies have demonstrated Walker Sands’ remarkably consistent high growth. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch.
