As an Editorial Director, Jillian develops and manages content strategy for clients across a wide range of industries, including financial services, martech, HR technology, retail technology and more.
With a strong business and fintech reporting background and years of experience crafting content for a wide variety of audiences, Jillian looks for any opportunity to enhance clients’ messaging and relevance to help them stand out within increasingly competitive markets. Working closely with her team of content producers and strategists, Jillian creates and leads content programs that generate both awareness and sales leads for clients.
Jillian’s passion for storytelling runs deep, with her previous journalism experience ranging from working as a reporter for a daily news organization in Cape Town, South Africa, to covering the tech startup industry right here in Chicago.
Born and raised in Virginia, Jillian naturally attended the state's best university, Virginia Tech. There she earned her bachelor's degree in business, double majoring in marketing and management, with a specialization in entrepreneurship, innovation and technology. Years later, Jillian earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and has called Chicago home ever since.
