As Director of Content Strategy, Brendan Shea oversees a wide variety of creative initiatives for all of Walker Sands’ clients — integrating PR, web, video, social and other digital channels.
He brings with him more than a decade of experience in brand development, content marketing and journalism. Previously, Brendan was the Director of Marketing at Strike Social (named the No. 17 fastest-growing private company in America by Inc. Magazine), where he built the adtech firm’s marketing department and brand from the ground up. Brendan also developed the content marketing program for Sprout Social, which earned the distinction of having a top 10 blog by Social Media Examiner while securing placements in Harvard Business Review, Adweek, Mashable and more. Before that, Brendan worked for Loyola University Chicago, Leo Burnett and Chicago Magazine in various communications and editorial positions.
A native of St. Louis, Brendan holds a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Missouri as well as a master’s in marketing from Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business, where he now serves as an adjunct professor.
