Vice President of Business Development
As Marketing Manager, Alex works with the marketing team to execute traditional and digital marketing strategies, increase brand awareness and generate demand. Her daily responsibilities include managing Walker Sands' social media, assisting with event coordination and working with the public relations and digital teams to help deliver comprehensive integrated campaigns.
Prior to Walker Sands, Alex worked in children's book publishing where she helped develop innovative marketing campaigns and coordinated tours for New York Times bestselling authors. Alex loves to bring that same creativity and attention to detail to the Walker Sands brand.
Originally from Haslett, Michigan, Alex graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green!) with dual degrees in Professional Writing and Spanish.
