Introducing the B2B Marketing Insights Playbook for COVID-19: Real-Time, Peer-Based Trends for Navigating the Pandemic

Courtney Beasley

“What are other B2B marketers doing right now?”

This has been the most asked question to me and my peers at Walker Sands since early March. With such drastic developments around the pandemic leading to social distancing and economic uncertainty, marketers, now more than ever, are relying on each other to navigate new challenges and make timely, informed decisions for their teams, companies and customers.

It’s with this in mind that we’ve put together the first-of-its-kind playbook for marketers navigating the current business landscape: B2B Marketing Insights Playbook for COVID-19.

This playbook is customizable based on the level of impact your company has experienced (positively, negatively or severely negatively impacted) and is based on real insights and trends that we’re seeing with clients and in B2B marketing at large. It contains recommendations on messaging, channels and budgets, along with additional resources built to address marketing's place in the current state of the world. We’re also offering free consultations on your strategy and budget allocation if you feel you need personalized, directional support.

To enhance our dataset, we’re collecting feedback from marketers weekly via this quick poll. We’re asking anyone responsible for a marketing function at a B2B organization to consider taking it weekly to help maintain timely, relevant data for you and other marketers facing similar obstacles.

We’re excited to share this resource and hope that you’ll find it helpful as you continue to navigate this changing and dynamic landscape. If one thing has become very clear through all of this, it’s that we’re truly all in it together. If there are topics or data points you’d like to see us collect as this playbook evolves, please share them with me directly. And as always, please let us know if there are other ways in which we can be helpful in this time.
