Infographic: 40% of Consumers Will Purchase Anything from Amazon, and other Walker Sands' Future of Retail Study Findings
Have you shopped online at least once in the past month? Made a purchase from Amazon in the last year? Can't remember the last time you had more than $20 in your pocket? If you answered yes to these questions, the recent Walker Sands' 2014 Future of Retail Study finds you're in the majority.
We surveyed more than 1,000 U.S. consumers on spending behaviors in the past year and preferences for future spending and revealed several major shifts in trends, as well as key variables retailers can implement to drive higher rates of online spending.
Among the notable findings: four in 10 consumers would be willing to purchase any kind of product from Amazon.com, and the majority of categories listed were only opposed for online purchase by 10 percent of consumers or less.
