This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large, global brand that has been named one of the 100 Fastest Growing Brands in the World by Fortune. You will be supported by and partner closely with a broader team of Walker Sands PR pros, creatives and account managers based in the U.S. and U.K. to strategize and deliver a globally resonant program designed to accelerate awareness and growth for this big-name client.

This is a full-time role with the expectation that you will work in-person 2-3 days per week from the client’s office in Buenos Aires.

About You:

You are a competent leader and hands-on practitioner, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and interfacing with senior leaders at the client and Walker Sands.

You understand the technology industry, including key players and client-relevant trends. You consistently deliver quality work, have an eye for detail and keep cool while juggling several assignments at once.

You understand the value of attentive, empathetic client service, and have a history of nurturing strong, years-long working relationships with client partners and executive thought leaders. You view their success as your own, consistently strive to exceed expectations, and understand that the agency’s reputation is as much tied to client experience as it is to the deliverables we produce.

  • Coordinate with client’s marketing team to source and direct newsworthy initiatives and executive insights while onsite at client’s office, with an emphasis on news and stories that will resonate in the U.S. market or on a global scale
  • Anticipate client needs, asking the questions that will keep us consistently one step ahead and our teams on track to exceed client goals and objectives
  • Be a trusted counselor to client contacts, anticipating their needs and taking initiative to ensure they’re addressed
  • Maintaining open and direct communication with clients and the internal team, helping to enable flexibility while championing and defending established strategies
  • Ensure work is aligned with strategy and delivers outcomes that exceed client expectations
  • Attend relevant in-person internal/company meetings at the client’s office to uncover insights for the global PR program
  • Provide real-time communications guidance and counsel to client stakeholders based on established global PR strategy
  • Coordinate timely media opportunities in real-time and draft commentary as needed (for example, meeting with client executives to source insights and commentary on breaking news)
  • Assist with the creation and ongoing management of media, content, speaking and awards calendars
  • Draft compelling bylined articles, ghost-written for client executives, for publication in relevant media outlets
  • Draft press releases on client’s behalf for company announcements
  • Develop speaking and awards submissions for client executives and initiatives
  • Review PR materials prepared in the U.S to ensure cultural resonance on an as-needed basis
  • Translate content from Spanish to English (or vice versa) on an as-needed basis

The role outlined above assumes always-on communication and collaboration with the program’s U.S.-based global PR leads at Walker Sands.

  • 5-10 years of experience working in B2B technology PR.
  • Past agency experience and experience working with technology companies
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong written communications in English are a must
  • Working knowledge of the global and U.S. media landscape
  • Fluency with Google Suite, Slack and other collaboration tools

This is a full-time role with the expectation that you will work in-person 2-3 days per week from the client’s office in Buenos Aires.
