Web Strategist

Walker Sands is seeking an adept Web Strategist to join our agency team. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively analyze website performance and guide our clients confidently with site optimization recommendations.


You’ll analyze important metrics like website performance, SEO, conversion rates, lead generation, keyword searches and more. Your strategic recommendations will help inform the subsequent website work of our internal content writers, designers and developers.

Our Expectations

We’re looking for a resource with between three and five years of experience working in web or digital analytics. We require a solid understanding of Google Analytics with an ability to analyze data, synthesize insights and recommend optimizations. Here are some examples of the types of responsibilities involved in this role:



This resource doesn’t need to have expert-level skills in dev such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, server architecture; nor does she/he need fluency in SEO or UX/UI design (though some familiarity with these areas would be a bonus). But the core competency required of this role will be the ability to analyze website performance metrics, present findings to clients, and handoff issues to our internal experts to actually fix.



  • At least 3 years of industry experience web/analytics
  • Client-facing presentation skills
  • Google Analytics expertise (formal certifications preferred)
  • Stellar communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work on a cross-functional collaborative creative and web development team
  • Strong work ethic and personal task management skills
