Senior Designer


Walker Sands is looking for a senior designer to join our creative team in Chicago.


  • Lead the creative development and execution of design projects — both digital and print — in close collaboration with the agency’s account teams, copywriters, developers, project managers and video producers while under the guidance of an art director.
    • Project types include but are not limited to: websites, landing pages, digital advertising, presentations, brand identities, data reports, tip sheets, ebooks and direct mail.
  • Prepare and lead internal and client presentations that articulate creative and strategic thinking, insights and rationale.
  • Actively participate in internal reviews, brainstorms, strategy discussions and client presentations.
  • Employ brand guidelines from the agency’s 100+ B2B clients into consistent expressions of their varied visual identity systems across digital and print.
  • Manage multiple projects at one time and assist with keeping team deliverables and timelines on track.
  • Mentor junior designers.

  • 3+ years of experience in design (agency experience preferred).
  • An online portfolio that shows off your meticulous layout, color and typographic skills as well as your conceptual abilities.
  • Mastery of Sketch and Adobe CC staples, such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Bonus:
    • You can create killer PowerPoint templates and custom decks.
    • You have motion design skills and experience creating animations and GIFs.
    • You are familiar with prototyping tools, such as InVision.
