Salesforce Administrator

Walker Sands is looking for a talented Salesforce administrator who enjoys using Salesforce.com to advance business objectives and drive growth. The Salesforce.com administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administration and for ensuring the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the CRM and other applications built on and connected to the platform. In this high-visibility role, product knowledge, analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with others to positively impact the business are all keys to success.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for Walker Sands’  Salesforce.com environment and perform administrative duties such as user provisioning, reports and dashboards, workflow management, system configuration, data quality, security administration, customization and other routine tasks. 
  • Build and maintain system automations and workflows based on business needs.
  • Build, maintain and enhance reports/dashboards so they yield meaningful metrics to support different business functions.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests and bug fixes.
  • Work with the product owners and other technology team members to establish processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
  • Identify, build and manage third party integrations.
  • Develop documentation of existing systems and procedures.
  • Establish training material as needed and assist in training new users. 
  • Stay abreast of product trends, technology innovations,Salesforce.com product releases and updates, new features and system best practices.
  • Analyze, evaluate and propose system changes to business sponsors.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.
  • Knowledge and experience of application administration and configuration specific to Salesforce.com such as Object Builder, Validation Rules, Page Layouts, Workflow, Process Builder, Sharing Rules, Custom fields, Reports & Dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce.com platform functionality and best practices.
  • A demonstrated ability of analyzing needs, articulating and assessing the impact of complex requirements and working across cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, a positive attitude, ability to ask right questions and a bias toward action.

 

Desired but not required

  • Saleforce.com Admin certification; additional certifications are a plus. 
  • Experience with FinancialForce ERP or other PSA system built on Force.com platform.
  • Experience with Pardot Marketing Automation
  • Experience with Einstein Analytics
