Account Manager (PR)


Walker Sands is looking for a creative and strategic account manager to join our growing Seattle team.

Our client portfolio contains an impressive list of Fortune 500 corporations, startups, fast-growing high-tech companies, digital marketing agencies, professional services firms, business associations and nonprofits.

With a team of passionate PR pros at your back, you'll get to manage 2 to 4 technology and B2B accounts: nurturing client relationships, developing strategy, forging influential media contacts,doing whatever it takes to drive meaningful PR outcomes for top-tier technology firms.

Along the way, you will participate in our agency's culture of constant learning, accumulating valuable lessons from the field and swapping insights with people inside and outside of the firm. You'll also have the chance to nurture junior team members and contribute to the development of more efficient and effective internal processes. And as a member of our newest office, you'll have a hand in shaping our presence out on the West Coast.

Experience Required

  • 2-4 years of agency PR experience, preferably in the fields of technology and/or B2B.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Client relations and people management experience.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand clients' business goals.
