Q&A with Kelsey Gunderson

What is your favorite book of all time?

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. It really puts your bad days in perspective.

What TV or movie character best exemplifies you and why?

Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. I'm determined, I always try to do the right thing, and I sometimes consider myself the rightful Queen of the world. Where my dragons at?

What is your favorite place in Chicago that isn't a typical tourist destination?

The Lakeshore running path never gets old.

Would you rather have the office stocked 24/7 with Starbucks coffee or Garrett's popcorn?

Starbucks. Never trust anyone who turns down free coffee.

The funniest thing to ever happen to you at Walker Sands was?

When Beth Kempton and I got locked in the 39th floor stairwell because we forgot to get off the elevator. Little did we know that the stairwell doors are locked from the outside...

One thing people wouldn't know about you is?

I was the campus news editor at the University of Wisconsin's student newspaper The Daily Cardinal

If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would you live?

Chicago is pretty great, but an occasional European vacation would be nice.
