Q&A with Katherine Kim

What is your favorite book of all time?

It's a lot of people's favorite book, but Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was the book that got me into writing in the first place. I keep a copy with me in my bag at all times.

What is your favorite place in Chicago that isn't a typical tourist destination?

Ryan Field in Evanston, IL because it's where the Northwestern Wildcats play. I don't think many tourists frequent that area ever.

Would you rather have the office stocked 24/7 with Starbucks coffee or Garrett popcorn?

One thing people in the world wouldn't know about you?

Up until I was about five I would refer to airplanes as "flying fish" and my parents don't know where that came from.

If you could live anywhere else in the world where would it be?

London. I studied economics there one summer and fell in love with the city.
