The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage our website development and other digital marketing projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, on budget and to the full satisfaction of our clients.
THIS POSITION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
The Project Manager will manage multiple projects simultaneously. At the start of a given project, the Project Manager takes the scope of work described in the proposal and develops a detailed project plan, including defining all interim and final deliverables, assigning tasks to team members and creating a schedule of due dates for our team and our client's team.
The Project Manager communicates the project plan to all internal team members and to the client. In advance of client calls or meetings, the Project Manager provides an agenda and status report with respect to project schedule variances and any issues that need to be discussed. After client calls or meetings, the Project Manager provides a meeting summary to all parties, documenting all action items and germane discussion points.
The Project Manager may occasionally be responsible for some implementation tasks. In any case, they should be familiar enough with these tasks to be able to properly project manage them.
The Project Manager will report to the Vice President who runs our Digital group. There will be no direct reports at this time. Rather, they will work in a liaison relationship with our entire team, letting team members know what is due when, troubleshooting projects when they get behind schedule and helping team members to prioritize their work across multiple client obligations.
While the Project Manager is not responsible for defining overall account strategy, as the Account Executive, they play an important role in strengthening our client relationships. As such, strong communication skills, both internal and external, are critically important for this position.
