Publicity Club of Chicago (PCC) - Silver Trumpet Award

As the most prestigious awards program in the Midwest, the PCC Golden Trumpets honor the most distinguished achievements in public relations and communications practice.

Walker Sands won in the marketing category for its Alterian Social Media Hot Topic Campaign.

 

Business Marketing Association (BMA) –Tower Awards

BMA Chicago is the Business Marketing Association’s single largest chapter, serving nearly 450 business-marketing professionals in the surrounding area. The annual Tower Awards recognize leading business-to-business campaigns in Chicago, judged by a panel of world-class marketers.

Walker Sands’ work with Acquity Group and Alterian resulted in multiple BMA Tower Awards in the Public Relations Campaigns – Coordinated category. 

 

Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Skyline Awards

PRSA Chicago is the fourth largest chapter of the national society devoted to the practice of public relations, and its prestigious Skyline Awards honor the best communications practitioners, campaigns and tactics in the area. Among industry leading PR firms, Walker Sands was recognized for its business-to-business PR campaign with Acquity Group. 

 

IMA Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of Web Design/Development

The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement.

Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winners a boost in marketing and exposure. IMC serves as the primary sponsor and governing body of the Interactive Media Awards, establishes the judging system and provides the judges for the competition.

 

Hermes Gold Award in the category of Interactive Marketing Campaigns

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, web based innovators and freelancers. Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and free-lance professionals. Walker Sands was honored for the Bekins Agent Website program.

 

The Communicator Awards - Award of Distinction

The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for Communications Professionals. Founded by communication professionals over a decade ago, The Communicator Awards receives over 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world. For well over a decade, the Communicator Awards has honored the best creative work in the communications fields. Walker Sands was honored with this award for our work on the Marshalls Fashion Police PR Campaign.

 

BtoB Magazine Top Business to Business Agency

BtoB, the magazine for marketing strategists, delivers timely editorial on all disciplines of business-to-business marketing. Published monthly by Crain Communications Inc., BtoB provides more than 45,000 subscribers with the information and analysis they need to develop a winning integrated marketing strategy for their companies. Finalists across four categories were selected based on percentage of total business that is BtoB, revenue growth, new client wins, innovative work, and expanded service capabilities.
