SurePayroll has launched SureChoice, a turnkey solution for accountants that lets them access payroll data for their clients via the Web. Accountants can refer clients to SurePayroll and, with client permission, gain access to payroll data. The Chicago-based vendor can also create a private-label payroll service for the accounting firm, allowing the firm to offer Web-based payroll services branded with the accountant's company name.

The service allows small-business clients to enter payroll data via the Web. Clients who are not Web-enabled can fax or call in their data, and the accountant can do the online data entry for them. Tax tables for federal, state, and local government agencies and other withholding amounts are calculated automatically, and all necessary tax deposits are also automatically made. The service also automatically prepares and submits all filings on behalf of the accounting firm and its clients. Clients can also print checks directly, or use direct deposit. SurePayroll also offers a check printing and delivery service for a fee.
