Kate is an account executive working with B2B brands in the Walker Sands marketing technology practice area, including Infogroup and PureCars. She is responsible for managing media relations and content marketing campaigns to help clients achieve their objectives of brand awareness, improved credibility and lead generation. To make the magic happen, Kate leads an incredible team of media relations specialists to secure print, digital and broadcast coverage that helps to accomplish her clients’ goals and promote their expertise to engaged, relevant audiences.
Experience working in editorial and media relations enables Kate to develop relevant and newsworthy story ideas to promote her clients’ messaging, thought leaders and internal data. Kate has a strong background in media relations, writing and reporting due in part to her bachelor’s of science in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University with an additional certificate in integrated marketing and communications.
Beyond B2B tech, Kate’s other passions include incredibly large dogs, coffee/chocolate/beer, extreme wanderlust and indie rock of the angry girl persuasion.
