John Everette is an account executive at Walker Sands Communications, where he leads accounts in green tech and fintech, specifically payments and data aggregation. No matter what challenge he faces, John is focused on always delivering the highest quality product to his clients, and he does so with his trademark sense of humor. John considers client relationship building to be integral to the success of a PR program and prides himself on his ability to make the necessary personal connections.
John came to Walker Sands via KemperLesnik and Fishman Public Relations, where he'd worked largely in consumer practice areas on accounts ranging from sports to food and beverage to franchising. He has been in the public relations industry since 2010 and brings excellent writing, media relations and client services skills to Walker Sands.
Outside of work, John is a member of the Young Professionals Board at Circle Urban Ministries in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago and is a blogger for Writing Illini. John graduated with a B.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois in 2010. And yes, he's a huge Illini fan, for better or for worse. You can find him on Twitter at @jobin_theman.
Harry Potter. I've read the series like 5 times.
My dad said it best at my wedding - I'm a combination of Paul Blart Mall Cop and AJ from Armageddon.
I love old school restaurants with a lot of history, like Twin Anchors in Old Town and Lou Mitchell's in West Loop.
Halloween 2015 was pretty hilarious. We've got some creative folks on floor 39!
I've got a huge soft spot for Disney movies. I bought Frozen on Blu-Ray.
