As an account director at Walker Sands, Erin leads the retail technology and education technology PR teams, managing a group of B2B technology clients that includes Accenture Interactive, 1WorldSync, MyWebGrocer and Flipgrid. As a PR pro with a background in psychology and research, Erin excels at launching data-driven campaigns that produce strong media results for clients.
Erin manages a team of talented account executives, media relations specialists and writers in public relations strategy and integrated campaigns that help clients achieve long-term business goals. Through her experience in B2B tech, Erin has gained a deep knowledge across industries and verticals, including the spaces of e-commerce, supply chain and logistics, SaaS, retail tech, marketing tech, product information management, CPG, education and Saas/cloud-based software.
Prior to joining Walker Sands in 2012, Erin gained a variety of PR and event planning experience through positions at Edelman, The American Health Information Management Association and Loyola University's Gannon Center for Women and Leadership. Erin graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago, where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in advertising/public relations and social science psychology, in addition to a minor in studio art photography.
Outside of the office, Erin splits her time between attempting to learn how to bike fearlessly in the city, and playing the guitar and ukulele. She’s also an avid runner, having completed the Chicago Marathon in 2015 and Cincinnati Marathon in 2016 as part of her goal to run a marathon in a new city each year.
