CompTIA Social Experiment Case Study Video

Walker Sands' client, Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), aimed to create a PR campaign that established brand authority in the cybersecurity space and would position the organization as a provider of non-IT training and certification programs. Walker Sands recognized CompTIA’s need for a creative campaign that would gain the attention of the cybersecurity community and demonstrate the need for HR and IT managers to conduct cybersecurity training for all personnel. The Walker Sands team came up with a creative idea that did just that. By placing preloaded USB devices in busy public areas throughout Chicago, Cleveland, Washington DC and San Francisco, the social experiment proved the need for cybersecurity education by and large.
