Senior Media Relations Specialist
Claire is an experienced media relations specialist, working on accounts in the enterprise software and professional services space. Her focus is in working closely with clients’ thought leaders, developing compelling pitch angles, conducting targeted media outreach and securing consistent results for clients.
Claire has cultivated strong relationships with a mix of reporters, and her clients have been featured in media ranging from The New York Times to Fast Company and re/code.
Prior to joining Walker Sands, Claire worked with The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, in their global public affairs and communications department. Claire graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in business and English.
Claire is our resident Bachelor and Bachelorette expert, and she has a knack for correctly predicting who will get the final rose.

I actually got really confused by the building's elevators when I first came to interview. I didn't realize you had to enter the floor number before you got on, so I just followed a group of people into the first elevator that opened. Needless to say, I kind of panicked when I realized there were not buttons inside. Anyways, I had to get off on a different floor and get back into another elevator. Thankfully, I gave myself plenty of time to find the office!
I'm an anglophile. Studying abroad in London was a dream come true for me.
