
Andrew Shykofsky is the V.P. of Business Development at Walker Sands.
Leading the Business Development team, Andrew brings over 15 years of sales, marketing and management experience. He has served many businesses across multiple industries including hospitality, entertainment, gourmet food, commercial cleaning, manufacturing and most recently, green tech -- including solar photovoltaics and green roofs. His focus is on partnership and long-term relationships. His former positions include Major Accounts Manager at Tioga Energy and Director of Business Development at Skol Manufacturing.
Andrew’s approach during the sales process is mostly to understand the client’s situation as clearly as possible and see if the opportunity exists to truly serve the clients’ needs. He believes in the cultural fit with the client along with having the right solution are what form the basis of a good business relationship. Over his years in sales and business development, he has solidified a style that has been called ‘polite persistence’. Because of his varied experience, he is able to quickly grasp the underlying challenges that a business is facing and provide an optimistic view for the swift resolution of those challenges.
