As a vice president and partner at Walker Sands, Andrew leads the firm’s FinTech, electronics, enterprise software and professional services practice areas.
Andrew develops strategic programs that sit at the intersection of media relations, content development and digital marketing. He works with tech companies to establish credibility, acquire customers and gain market share. He has experience working with public companies as well as private companies, many of which he’s helped to formally announce rounds of venture capital funding and tell the stories that inevitably follow. Andrew’s integrated programs have earned recognition from the Public Relations Society of America, the Publicity Club of Chicago, PR Daily and the Hermes Awards. Andrew’s client experience includes work with GrubHub, CareerBuilder, Payoneer, Worldpay and Newark element14.
Andrew is a public relations mentor for Techstars, the world’s premiere accelerator program, and an advisor to the Chicago startup community. He is also a member of the Young Entrepreneur Council.
Before joining Walker Sands in 2010, Andrew worked as a freelance writer and editor for American Express (NYSE: AXP), DISH Network (NASDAQ: DISH) and Livestrong.com.
